For more than 40 years, Bridgehead has sourced from and supported a family of small-scale, sustainable farmers around the world. A beloved Ottawa institution, the brand had gradually lost relevance with a younger generation of coffee drinkers.
We were brought in to redefine its positioning and lead a comprehensive rebrand, from packaging to storefronts. Drawing inspiration from archival materials, functional shipping typography, and even Ottawa’s official flower, the tulip, we created a comprehensive identity that captures and expresses Bridgehead’s ethos and mission.
Project was put on indefinite hiatus midway through after Bridgehead was purchased by Pilot Coffee.
